For yellow under toned skin:
Now I'm not saying that Jessica Alba looks horrible (she still pulls it off) but this color of blonde is NOT right for her. My theory on hair color is if your skin and hair blends almost as the same color it's BAD. Just like if you are really tan and you dye your hair a light brown and it matches your skin, it just looks weird haha.
So my theory for yellow/golden toned skin is you either need ash tones which has no yellow, orange, or red tones. Just perfectly neutral blonde.
OR you can go with reddish tones. now you cannot achieve a really light blonde with red tones that looks good but you can definitely do a strawberry blonde.
For pink under toned skin:
Here is another example of how the skin and hair color are almost the same tone and lightness.
You ALWAYS want some contrast between your hair and skin. Now as we know Christina Aguilera looks her best as a Platinum Blonde which NEVER has red, yellow, or orange tones. Her skin has pink undertones and that is why having a completely neutral and bold hair color. Now with pink under toned skin you can also get away with a pretty golden blonde and I suggest to add some pretty bleach blonde highlights.
For olive undertones:
Now this is a little tricky since most olive tone skin is a lot darker. I would never really suggest doing platinum blonde since it is so far away from black or dark brown natural hair. you can still do blonde but STAY AWAY from ash blondes! they will wash you out! You want a golden or strawberry blonde.
Here are some pics of PERFECT blonde hair for your skin:
Yellow/golden skin:
Notice no more yellow! :)
Pink skin:
ahh much better right?
Olive skin:
with the reddish low lights her hair and skin look perfect together!
Hope this was helpful!!!
